4. Intellectual Property Rights

All scraping tools, software, methodologies, and proprietary algorithms remain the exclusive property of ScraperScoop. Purchasing Services does not grant you ownership of our technology.
4.2. Client Data Rights
Upon full payment, Clients receive:
- Non-exclusive license to use the delivered data
- Right to store, process, and analyze the data
- Right to incorporate data into internal business processes
- Limitations: Cannot resell raw datasets, cannot redistribute to third parties without written permission
4.3. Third-Party Content
We do not claim ownership of data extracted from third-party websites. Clients are responsible for ensuring their use complies with source website terms and applicable laws.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate project specifications and requirements
- Obtain necessary permissions for data extraction from target websites
- Use data in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not use our Services for:
- Illegal activities or data theft
- Extracting personal data without consent
- Circumventing security measures (CAPTCHA, rate limiting)

6. Payment Terms
- Pricing: Based on project complexity, data volume, and frequency
- Payment Schedule: 50% deposit before project commencement, 50% upon delivery

7. Delivery & Acceptance
7.1. Delivery Timeline
Project timelines will be specified in project proposals. We strive for on-time delivery but are not liable for delays caused by:

- Client-delayed feedback or approvals
- Force majeure events
7.2. Quality Standards
Datasets will be delivered with:

7.3. Acceptance Period
Clients have 7 days from delivery to report any issues or discrepancies. After this period, the delivery is considered accepted.
8. Refund & Cancellation Policy

- Before commencement: Full refund of deposit
- After commencement: Deposit non-refundable, work-in-progress may be delivered
- Project cancellation: Client responsible for costs incurred up to cancellation date

- Before download: Full refund available
- After download: No refunds (digital product nature)
- Technical issues: We will provide replacement download or fix issues
8.3. Subscription Services
- Monthly subscriptions can be canceled anytime, no further charges
- Annual subscriptions: Prorated refund for unused months minus 25% administrative fee
9. Data Accuracy & Liability

- We maintain confidentiality of Client project details
- We do not share Client-specific data with third parties
- Client data is stored securely and deleted after project completion unless otherwise agreed
- We may reference general project types in our portfolio (without identifying details)
11. Ethical Data Practices
We adhere to ethical web scraping practices:
- Respect robots.txt files (unless Client has explicit permission)
- Implement rate limiting to avoid server overload
- Do not scrape password-protected areas without authorization
- Comply with data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Do not engage in deceptive practices or identity masking
12. Technical Requirements
For optimal Service delivery:
- Client should provide API credentials if required
- Access to necessary websites or login information
- Clear specifications for data fields and formats
- Feedback within agreed timelines for revisions
13. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate Services if:
- Client violates these Terms & Conditions
- Client requests illegal or unethical activities
- Non-payment of invoices
- Abusive behavior towards our team
14. Dispute Resolution
